Fall Meeting and Current Standards Activities/Deadlines

REMINDER FOR TECHNICAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS TO VOTE
During the AWPA Fall Technical Committee Meetings all submitted proposals were considered for letter ballot. Letter ballots were issued to Technical Committees and are expected to close after 30 days (Oct. 30) or when a 60% return rate is achieved, whichever is later . All voting is being conducted through the Standards Development Platform (member login required). Any proposals receiving negative votes or comments are subject to the Negative Resolution process and Recirculation Ballots (if required) in November and December. The AWPA Executive Committee will perform a procedural and legal review thereafter, taking final action to ratify proposals at their January 2027 meeting.
Membership Renewals
The 2027 AWPA membership renewal period is now open. Membership Renewal Notices were sent to all current members via email.
2027 Regular membership dues are $320, but if you renew your membership by January 15, 2027, an early Renewal Discount of $50 will be applied at checkout. You may log into the AWPA Member Portal to renew online. Once you're logged in to your personal (not company) profile, you will see a bell with a red circle near the top right corner. Move your mouse over this icon and click the Renew Membership option to start the renewal process. If you prefer to renew by fax or mail, please let us know and we will be glad to send you a printable invoice.

2027 Sponsorship Opportunities
In addition to membership dues and publication sales, AWPA relies heavily upon voluntary contributions from organizations that support AWPA's mission and goals. Through our Organizational Sponsorship Program, AWPA recognizes its sponsors at meetings, on the website, in publications, and in other printed materials. If your organization was an AWPA Sponsor in 2026, your organization's sponsorship contact person will have already received a renewal notice by email. If your organization did not receive a renewal notice, please let us know and we will send you one. Sponsorships may also be purchased in the AWPA web store. If you are not currently a sponsor and you're able to support AWPA financially, please visit the "Become a Sponsor" web page.
Friendly reminder that the AWPA logo is not to be used by anyone other than AWPA or by organizations with a joint marketing or licensing agreement with AWPA. An exception is granted to AWPA sponsors as long as the area around the logo has text such as “Proud Sponsor” or “Platinum Sponsor.” AWPA has specially designed logos for their sponsors to use, and if you are a sponsor and would like a copy of that logo, please contact us for more information.
2026 AWPA Book of Standards
The 2026 Book of Standards was released on April 27, 2026!
As a non-profit standards development organization, the proceeds from Book of Standards sales provide much-needed funding for our standards development process. Every treating plant, laboratory, specifier, and inspector should have a current edition on-hand, so please be sure to purchase updated copies each year to ensure you are following the most up-to-date standards and to help AWPA cover the cost of standards development.
Digital Access:
We are thrilled to announce we are partnering with a new digital media company to provide access to a beautifully designed digital streaming version of the 2026 Book Of Standards.
2027 Annual Meeting
We are thrilled to announce the 2027 AWPA Annual Meeting will be held amidst the blue grass of Louisville, Kentucky, April 4-8, 2027. Welcome to Bourbon Country! Or maybe you love horses, boxing, baseball, great food, live entertainment or an easily walkable city. No matter what, Louisville will have something for you. Our hotel is right off of legendary Bourbon Row, steps from historic distillaries and right in the very heart of this vibrant city scape. Registration will open in early Janaury 2027.
The AWPA Annual Meeting arrangements committee is putting together an excellent technical program and social events for the 2027 meeting. If you would like to present a paper during one of the many Technical Sessions, please submit a working title and a list of authors as soon as possible. We are hoping to collect a large number of items for a silent auction raising funds for the Student Fellowship. If you are interested in donating goods, services, or a gift basket, please contact us!
