1997 Treating Plant List - Wood Preserving Plants in the United States, 1997, prepared by James T. Micklewright.  Approximately 445 plants operating in 1997 are listed.  Includes company names, plant locations, types of preservatives used, and other pertinent information.

Wood Preservation Statistics: 1997 - This report was prepared by James T. Micklewright for the AWPA.  It is based on a survey of 445 treating plants that were reported to produce treated wood in 1997.  This report is a continuation of the author's previous surveys for the American Wood Preservers' Institute from 1985-1990, the AWPA surveys in 1990, 1991, and 1993, and the AWPI surveys from 1994-1996.

AWPA Standard M6-75 - Brands used on Forest Products.  This was the last edition of Standard M6 to include facsimiles of brands used on treated wood products and is intended to be used as a historical reference.  It does not purport to include all brands in use during 1975, and it includes references to treating companies which are no longer in existence.
