2025 AWPA Technical Committee Meetings
September 7-11, 2025 at the DeSoto Hotel in Savannah, Georgia

Hotel Reservations
The meetings will take place at the lovely DeSoto Hotel, 15 East Liberty Street, Savannah, Georgia 31401. The hotel places you in the heart of downtown and in walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and more. This is a gorgeous historic hotel, often voted among the best in the city. The AWPA negotiated room rate is $214 a night plus applicable taxes.
Reservations can be made using the following link or by calling the hotel at 855-703-4655, and referencing the American Wood Protection Association meeting. The hotel cut-off date is Monday, August, 18, 2025, so make sure to reserve before then!
Meeting Registration
Registration is open to any person who wishes to attend the meetings and abide by the AWPA Technical Committee Regulations, Antitrust Compliance Policy, and AWPA Event Code of Conduct Policy. AWPA members, however, may register at discounted rates. If you are a non-member and wish to join AWPA so that you may take advantage of the member rate, please click here for more information on applying for AWPA membership.
Registration entitles one to attend all committee meetings, task group meetings, and the evening receptions. (Your spouse and/or guests must register at the special spouse/guest rate to attend the receptions, but not any committee meetings.) Meals and lodging are not included. Please note that registering for the meeting does not reserve a room for you at the hotel. You must make your hotel reservations individually.

- Early Registration: Through August 1, 2025 (Members $420, Non-members $575)
- Regular Registration: August 2 through August 22, 2025 (Members $520, Non-members $675)
- On-site registration: September 7-11, 2025 (Members $620, Non-members $775)
- Spouse/Guest Registration ($90)

(Non-member rates are indeed higher than member rates...if you're not a member, please consider applying for AWPA membership - if approved, you will become eligible for the member rate)
Meeting Schedule
Proposals are found in the Standards Development Portal (member login required), and summaries of proposals are found on each committee's web page. Please contact email@awpa.com if you need the current link to the membership pages. Meeting agendas are also posted to each committee's web page as soon as they are received from the committee chairs.
NOTE: Meetings will NOT begin prior to their posted time - you must be present at roll call for each committee you're a member of in order for your vote(s) to be considered and to possibly maintain your voting status for the current cycle.
