For the 2022 Standardization Cycle, the deadline for all proposals was Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 11:59 pm CDT (US). Comments or suggested modifications may be posted to each proposal in the AWPA Standards Development Platform at least 20 days prior to the commencement of the meetings (deadline is Tuesday, September 6, 2022).

Meeting Registration

Registration is open to any person who wishes to attend the meetings and abide by the AWPA Technical Committee Regulations, Antitrust Compliance Policy, and AWPA Event Code of Conduct Policy.  AWPA members, however, may register at discounted rates. If you are a non-member and wish to join AWPA so that you may take advantage of the member rate, please click here for more information on applying for AWPA membership.

Registration entitles one to attend all committee meetings, task group meetings, and the evening receptions. (Your spouse and/or guests must register at the special spouse/guest rate to attend the receptions, but not any committee meetings.) Meals and lodging are not included. Please note that registering for the meeting does not reserve a room for you at the hotel. You must make your hotel reservations individually.

Registration Fees for in-person participation are as follows:

  • Early Registration (through August 19):  $375 (members), $500 (non-members)

  • Regular Registration (August 20 through September 9): $475 (members), $600 (non-members)

  • On-site Registration (September 25-28): $575 (members), $700 (non-members)

  • Spouse/Guest Registration (ends September 9): $75

If you are unable to attend the meetings in Providence, we do offer a livestream service which will allow you to watch and listen to the committee meetings, but without active participation or being counted as present for the meeting.  The registration fees for the livestream (watch/listen online) are as follows:

  • Livestream Registration (ends September 9):  $125 (members), $200 (non-members)

(non-member rates are indeed higher than member rates...if you're not a member, please consider applying for AWPA membership - if approved, you will become eligible for the member rate)
