Note: The deadline for proposals for new standards or changes to existing standards is 45 days prior to the commencement of the meetings. The deadline for all proposals was Friday, 13 August 2010. All proposals have been posted to the appropriate committee pages. Comments or suggested modifications of proposals shall be sent to the proponent of the proposal at least 20 days prior to the commencement of the meeting.

Hotel Reservations
The meetings will take place at the Renaissance Providence Hotel at 5 Avenue of the Arts in downtown Providence. The group rate for the meeting is $139 per night (single/double) for a standard guestroom. Other room types are available at discounted rates for meeting attendees. State and Federal government rates may be available to those who qualify. Each person is responsible for making his or her own hotel reservations. The cut-off date for hotel reservations has passed, but rooms may be available at the hotel's regular rates. Please note that AWPA receives discounts and complimentary meeting room space if our attendees are staying at the host hotel, enabling AWPA to keep its registration fees at relatively low rates. For this reason, we encourage you to stay at the Renaissance Providence Hotel. You may reserve a room by calling the hotel toll-free at 1-866-630-0704 (1-401-919-5000 direct) and asking for the American Wood Protection Association rate.

Meeting Registration
Registration is open to any person who wishes to attend the meetings. AWPA members, however, may register at deeply discounted rates.

Registration entitles one to attend all technical committee meetings and the nightly AWPA hospitality suite. Meals are not included. Please note that registering for the meeting does not reserve a room for you at the hotel. You must make your hotel reservations individually.

Registration Fees (please consider joining AWPA to register for the lower rate if not a member):

Early registration: $135 for members ($235 for non-members) until August 20, 2010

Pre-registration: $160 for members ($260 for non-members) from August 21-September 17, 2010.

On-site registration: $185 for members ($285 for non-members) September 26-October 1, 2010.

Please note that no refunds will be issued for cancellations requested after August 20.
