Formal Interpretation of Standards
When there appears to be a conflict between AWPA Standards, or
the content of a Standard is unclear, Section 14 of the AWPA
Technical Committee Regulations allow for a formal
interpretation process. Listed below are the formal
interpretations issued by AWPA:

Consensus not reached by interpretation panel, therefore, the
