Note: The deadline for proposals for new standards
or changes to existing standards is 45 days prior to the
commencement of the meetings. This year, the deadline
for all proposals is Friday, 31 July 2009.
All comments or suggested modifications of proposals shall be sent
to the proponent of the proposal at least 20 days prior to the
commencement of the meeting.
The meetings will take place at the Hilton Wilmington
Riverside at 301 North Water Street in Wilmington. The group rate for the meeting is $139 per night (single/double) for a standard guestroom.
Other room types are available at discounted rates for meeting
attendees. State and Federal government rates may be available to
those who qualify. Each person is responsible for making his or her
own hotel reservations. The cut-off date for hotel
reservations was August 21, 2009, but rooms may still be available -
please attempt to use the link below, or contact the hotel. Please note
that AWPA receives discounts and complimentary meeting room space if
our attendees are staying at the host hotel, enabling AWPA to
keep its registration fees at very low rates. For this
reason, we encourage you to stay at the Hilton Wilmington
Registration is open to any person who wishes to attend the
meetings. AWPA members, however, may register at deeply
discounted rates. If you are a non-member and wish to join
AWPA so that you may take advantage of the member rate, please
here for more information on AWPA membership.
Registration entitles one to attend all technical committee
meetings and the nightly AWPA hospitality suite. Meals are not
included. Please note that registering for the meeting does
not reserve a room for you at the hotel. You must make your
hotel reservations individually.
Early registration at $125 for members ($225 for non-members) is
open until August 8, 2009
Pre-registration at $150 for members ($250 for non-members) is
open August 9-31, 2009.
On-site registration at $175 for members ($275 for non-members)
is open September 13-17, 2009.
Please note that no refunds will be issued for cancellations
requested after August 8, 2009.
